Hebei North University The 7th Foreign Language and Culture Month Speech Contest Call for Participants
I. Speech Content and Video Requirements
Participants are to vividly tell China's stories, stories of Yan-Zhao region, stories of Zhangjiakou, stories of Hebei North University, and stories of ice and snow, etc., in a Chinese language.
Contest entries must be submitted as recorded videos, meeting the following requirements:
The video must have clear picture and sound, without background noise. It should be recorded horizontally as one complete, unedited file (e.g., no adding intro/outro screens, background music, subtitles, cropping, or other edits). The video duration must be 3 minutes. A penalty of 0.1 points will be deducted from the final score for speeches shorter than 2 minutes 50 seconds or longer than 3 minutes 10 seconds.
The video file format must be one of the following: MP4, MPEG, WMV, or RMVB. The file size should be no less than 50MB and no greater than 500MB.
The video file name must follow this format: School - Major - Year - Class - Name - Language (e.g., Foreign Languages - English - 2023 - Class1 - ZhangSan - English).
The video content must not reveal any personal information (e.g., name, student ID) or school affiliation of the participant. Failure to comply will result in disqualification.
Students need to submit your video to wywhhdyxsz@163.com before November 18th.

Technical Quality | 20% | Clear picture, stable camera shot, horizontal recording, video duration and specifications comply with contest requirements. |
